Sowing seeds: Making investments today for sustainable farms tomorrow.

Supporting Sustainability AT
the Farm-Level

We are working to source our crops and ingredients in ways that help restore the earth and strengthen farming communities.

In all that we do, we offer a voluntary, flexible approach to regenerative agriculture that gives farmers a seat at the table, while recognizing the diversity of agriculture and that one size does not fit all.

We aim to drive the advancement of regenerative, sustainable farming practices to optimize crop yields, respect human rights, improve farmer livelihoods and secure supply of agricultural ingredients.

HOW IT WORKS

Implementing a number of regen-ag practices to accomplish goals (these are samples and can be customized based on joint identified goals):

  • Biodiversity
  • Cover cropping
  • Tillage reduction
  • Crop diversification
  • 4R practices (nitrogen reduction)

Work together to set joint KPIs, some examples of which include:

  • Regenerative aces and associated metrics
  • GHG reductions
  • GHG removals
  • Biodiversity
  • Soil health
  • Watershed health
  • # of farmers enrolled
  • Farmer retention

TRUSTED PARTNERSHIPS

Across North America and beyond, we’re empowering farmers through education, upfront investment in outcomes, peer coaching, cost-sharing and more. We also rely on strategic partnerships with experienced implementers and farmer-facing organizations to support the changes that growers want to make, including transitioning to regenerative practices.

  • A partnership to help participating farmers transition to climate-smart practices on close to one million acres by 2030, with the potential to reduce and capture up to more than three million tons of GHG emissions.

  • A long-term, strategic partnership with PFI to help drive regenerative agriculture practices across approximately 1.5 million acres of U.S. farmland by 2030.

  • A partnership with PCM that combines technology and data management with farm business & financials to help farmers manage, adopt, and adapt conservation practices long-term and improve on-farm decision-making.

  • A multi-year shared value partnership with ADM to reduce carbon intensity by expanding regenerative practices on up to two million acres across our shared supply chains.
